Project Manager IT Infrastructure & Migration

For our client from the federal administration, we are looking for an experienced project manager for a large migration undertaking. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for the planning, steering, and coordination of demanding IT infrastructure and migration projects.

Your tasks:

• Planning and steering of projects and sub-projects with clearly defined goals, milestones, responsibilities, and dependencies

• Development and evaluation of solution options, decision-making bases, and implementation concepts

• Creation, maintenance, and ongoing updating of schedule, resource, and action plans

• Monitoring of project progress, milestones, and resources, as well as early identification and management of deviations

• Creation of transparent status reports as well as structured recording and documentation of project risks, deviations, and decision requirements

• Planning, coordination, and documentation of migration, service decommissioning, and decommissioning measures

• Ensuring comprehensible project acceptances, complete final documentation, and structured handovers to the responsible operations organizations

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in IT project management as well as in the planning, steering, and coordination of IT projects and sub-projects

• Experience in IT infrastructure projects, particularly in the areas of migration, service decommissioning, and decommissioning of existing IT services

• Good knowledge of project controlling as well as schedule, resource, risk, and action planning

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with strong organizational and communication skills

• Clean criminal record is mandatory

• Very good German skills, good English is an advantage

• Experience in the public sector as well as knowledge of established project management methodologies are an advantage
