Project Manager in Switchgear Manufacturing

We are looking for, for assignment to our client, Siemens AG Austria (Smart Infrastructure), working 38.5 hours per week, effective immediately, a Project Manager for the manufacturing of custom switchgear.

• Project Execution in Manufacturing: You are responsible for the smooth execution of projects in manufacturing and ensure that manufacturing orders are completed on time and with the required quality.
• Interface Management: As the central point of contact, you coordinate closely with project management, production planning, and workshops to ensure optimal information flow and efficient collaboration.
• Technical Clarification & Problem Solving: You clarify technical details and open points that arise during the manufacturing process and find pragmatic solutions together with the involved teams.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: You monitor adherence to quality standards and ensure comprehensive documentation of the manufacturing progress and any adjustments.
• Optimization of Manufacturing Processes: You contribute your ideas for the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and help to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.

• Technical Education & Manufacturing Proximity: A completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics is ideal. You already have experience from a manufacturing environment and a good understanding of production processes.
• Practical Experience in Switchboard Construction: We require several years of practical experience in switchboard construction or in the project management of switchgear – you know what matters in implementation.
• Electrical Engineering Expertise: Experience in the areas of power distribution, protection technology, automation, or comparable electrical manufacturing environments is an advantage and ideally completes your profile.
• Organizational Talent & Structure: You are characterized by a structured way of working and maintain an overview even in complex projects. Your ability to set priorities and organize processes is crucial.
• Communication Skills & Team Spirit: You are a communicative personality who knows how to bring different stakeholders together and promote effective collaboration.
• Solution Orientation & Hands-on Mentality: You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, are proactive in problem-solving, and find pragmatic ways to overcome challenges in manufacturing.
• German and English Skills: Very good German language skills are essential for internal communication, good English language skills are an advantage for exchanges in our international environment.

Depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross monthly salary of at least EUR 3,890,- is intended (this will in any case exceed the collective bargaining minimum wage). The final salary agreement will be made during a personal interview.
