The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany. To realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, stations, tracks, and signaling systems, more than 10,000 engineers are currently working for us - still not enough. As an engineer at the German Railway, you can plan, manage or oversee something, that remains: the infrastructure for future generations. Tasks For the next possible opportunity to work on a project, we are looking for a project leader who has experience in leading and coordinating projects in the field of infrastructure development. The tasks include but are not limited to: - Planning and coordination of projects in the field of infrastructure development - Leading and coordinating teams of engineers and technicians - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards - Developing and implementing project plans and schedules - Monitoring and controlling project progress and budget - Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders - Providing technical guidance and support to team members. Requirements The ideal candidate should have: - A degree in engineering or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in leading and coordinating projects in the field of infrastructure development - Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Familiarity with project management tools and software.
