Job description
As Project Leader:in for Brand Alarm and Fire Protection Systems at a leading company in the Transportation industry, you will take on a key role in a future-oriented and security-critical environment in the Potsdam area. Tasks
- Leadership and coordination of projects in the field of brand alarm systems and fire protection systems.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Communication and coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Monitoring project progress and creating reports and documentation.
- Budget planning and control to ensure the profitability of projects.
Qualification
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a comparable qualification.
- Multiple years of professional experience in project management for brand alarm systems and fire protection systems.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the field of fire protection and safety technology.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with various stakeholders.
- Very good knowledge of applicable standards and guidelines, including: DIN 14675 (Fire Alarm Systems – Planning, Installation, Operation)
- DIN VDE 0833 (Fire Detection Systems, particularly Fire Alarm Systems and Voice Alarm Systems)
- VdS Guidelines (e.g. VdS 2095)
- Experience with plan review and evaluation of technical documents from external specialist companies
- Safe handling of activation conditions and technical connection conditions for the fire department
- Experience in creating and reviewing fire department maps and relevant documentation
- Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as good English language skills.
