About our Client

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Site Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on civil engineering and outdoor facilities for direct placement at an established, high-performing company in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Our client realizes demanding construction projects in the greater Munich area, particularly in the design and construction of outdoor facilities, paved areas, and commercial and public open spaces.

We are looking for a personality who not only oversees construction progress but also holistically manages projects commercially, technically, and organizationally.

Responsibilities

• Independent planning, control, and execution of civil engineering and area construction projects from preparation to handover
• Technical and economic responsibility for assigned construction projects
• Work preparation, schedule planning, and coordination of individual construction phases
• Calculation and ongoing monitoring of project costs, budgets, and economic efficiency
• Organization of personnel, machinery, and material deployment
• Management of internal construction site teams and external subcontractors
• Independent change order management, including review, calculation, and enforcement of additional services
• Creation and review of measurements, quantity surveys, and interim and final accounts
• Ensuring construction execution that meets schedule, cost, and quality requirements
• Coordination with clients, planners, and other project stakeholders
• Preparation and support of construction acceptances as well as proper project handover

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification as a Construction Technician, Master Craftsman, or experienced Site Manager
• Several years of professional experience in site management or project execution, preferably in civil engineering, road construction, area construction, or outdoor facilities construction
• In-depth knowledge of construction cost estimation, billing, and change order management
• Proficient in handling tender documents, measurements, and technical construction planning documents
• Strong economic understanding and entrepreneurial thinking
• Organizational skills, assertiveness, and independent working style
• Communication skills in dealing with clients, employees, and subcontractors
• Driver's license Class B
