Job description

Are you an experienced technical planner (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical or electrical trades and looking for a new challenge in Berlin?

Responsibilities

Office presence in Berlin and partial home office
Planning of at least one mechanical or electrical trade from service phases 1-5 (KG 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 434, 470)
Involvement in checking heating and cooling load calculations, dimensioning of ducts and pipes, and pressure loss calculations in ducts and pipes, cable network calculations, lightning protection calculations, photovoltaics
Involvement in Revit 3D planning of building services systems
Determination and verification of realization costs for projects
Involvement in the creation of tender documents
Communicating planning results within the team and in external meetings, as well as presenting planning services in presentations and explanatory reports
Preparation of service phase 6 bills of quantities (LV) using ORCA software
Direct consultation with clients and collaboration with architectural firms and building owners
Technical coordination of planning trades with members of the planning team
Mentoring and technical leadership for junior engineers

Qualifications

Dipl. Ing. / Master Craftsman / Technician / Bachelor or Master's degree in Building Services or HVAC Engineering
Several years of professional experience in a planning office
Good knowledge of German standards and multidisciplinary planning
Experience with Revit, Simaris, Caneco, MagiCAD, LINEAR, and ORCA
Demonstrable project success in building services regarding cost and schedule adherence
The ability to assume a high degree of responsibility
Experience in dealing with demanding clients
Excellent communication skills in German, good English skills are an advantage
