IMPORTANT FRAMEWORK CONDITIONS

An unrestricted willingness to relocate within the federal state is mandatory for this role. Depending on project requirements, you will take responsibility at one of our client locations and work there permanently on-site.

Remote or hybrid work is not envisioned for this operational leadership role. Project-related travel willingness and a Class B driver's license are prerequisites.

Then become part of our team as a Production Project Manager (m/f/d).

You will take operational responsibility for a customer project in an industrial environment. You will ensure stable processes, reliable personnel planning, and the achievement of quality, productivity, and performance targets.

You are the central point of contact between employees, client representatives, and management – with the aim of not just reporting challenges, but solving them sustainably.

YOUR TASKS

• You will take over the operational leadership of a production team at one of our customer projects.

• You will manage personnel, deployment, and capacity planning and ensure reliable project staffing.

• You will ensure that production targets, quality specifications, and agreed-upon KPIs are met.

• You will analyze processes, identify potential for improvement, and implement practical optimizations.

• You will control relevant KPIs such as productivity, scrap, quality, attendance, and performance fulfillment.

• You will develop your team professionally and organizationally and integrate new employees in a structured manner.

• You will ensure clear communication between employees, client representatives, and management.

• You will react confidently to deviations, bottlenecks, and short-term operational challenges.

• You will document performance, developments, and relevant deviations comprehensibly.

• You will be present on the floor regularly and lead by example as a manager.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

• Several years of experience in a leadership position in production, industry, metal processing, foundry, logistics, or a comparable environment.

• Experience as a Production Manager, Project Manager, Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, Foreman, or Group Leader.

• Good knowledge in controlling production processes, personnel planning, and operational KPIs.

• A good intuition for people and the ability to lead teams bindingly, fairly, and clearly.

• A structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work.

• Assertiveness, sense of responsibility, and a strong hands-on mentality.

• Strong communication skills in contact with clients, employees, and internal interfaces.

• Class B driver's license.

• Mandatory willingness to relocate nationwide and to work permanently on-site at changing customer and project locations.

• Project-related willingness to travel.
