The group includes SIERA Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft Nord with its headquarters in Hanover. Currently, around 120 employees work in this company in the fields of soil protection and waste, environmental and geotechnical engineering, water management, geoinformation, unexploded ordnance, and nature conservation.

Description

Do you want to not only provide technical support for nature conservation but also actively shape projects and take responsibility for their implementation? You work at the interface of nature conservation, landscape planning, and infrastructure development. Together with an interdisciplinary team, you develop environmentally sound solutions, support approval procedures, and ensure that protective measures are effectively implemented in practice.

You will keep an eye on the entire project lifecycle: You will coordinate with clients, authorities, and technical planners, manage technical processing, and contribute your experience to expert reports, mitigation planning, and environmental construction supervision. At SIERA, you will find an environment where different disciplines come together and you can help shape the development of the Nature Conservation team.

Then we are looking for you as a Project Manager in the Nature Conservation Team (m/f/d) at the Hanover location.

Your Tasks

· Execution and supervision of services in the field of nature conservation and landscape planning

· Preparation of environmental permit application documents within the scope of approval procedures, including preparation and execution (e.g., plan approval procedures, land-use planning procedures, BImSchV)

· Processing of nature conservation impact mitigation regulations, including E&A balances, planning of protective, avoidance, and compensatory measures (especially CEF measures)

· Environmental construction supervision (protection of flora/fauna, soil, and water bodies)

· Service-oriented customer communication

Your Profile

· Degree in a natural science university program (preferably Geosciences, Geography, Biology, Environmental Sciences, or similar) or an equivalent qualification

· Professional experience in the field of nature and species conservation, as well as in landscape planning and associated approval procedures

· Experience in the preparation of ecological expert reports (UVS, LBP, FFH assessments, species protection assessments, environmental reports, green development plans)

· Knowledge in the field of environmental construction supervision / environmental construction support

· Interest in faunistic/floristic inventory surveys – knowledge of selected animal species is desirable but not a prerequisite

· Good written communication skills, experience in report/expert report preparation, quality control of expert reports

· Driving license class 3 or B
