Project Manager (m/f/d) Preventive Soil Protection / Pedological Construction Supervision

About the Position
Are you motivated to successfully tackle issues in the field of soil protection and pedological construction supervision in a competent team? Then you are in the right place with us. We investigate and evaluate the soil as an environmental medium and actively contribute to its protection through planning and control measures on construction sites. We are looking for you for our locations in Cologne, Hagen, and Düsseldorf.

Tasks

Your Tasks:

• Pedological mapping for the assessment and documentation of soil conditions
• Development of concepts for soil protection (e.g., for construction projects or agricultural use)
• Supervision and support of (large) construction sites within the scope of pedological construction supervision
• Communication with clients, farmers/landowners, authorities, and other specialist planners
• Documentation of results in the form of expert reports and presentations
• Independent management of projects in this specialized area

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed degree or comparable qualification in Soil Science, Agricultural Sciences, Geography, Geosciences, or similar
• Several years of experience in soil function assessments and the creation of soil protection concepts; career starters are also welcome
• Experience in pedological mapping according to KA5
• Civil engineering/construction site experience desirable
• Knowledge of crop cultivation and soil recultivation is an advantage
• Knowledge for the assessment of soils from a soil chemistry perspective (BBodSchG/BBodSchV, ErsatzbaustoffV, LAGA)
