Project Manager (m/f/d) Building Services / Energy Technology for Hotels

You will support hotels in the technical and energetic development of their buildings and systems. You will combine technical planning with project management and guide our clients from the initial inventory, through the development of suitable solutions, to implementation.

The focus is on building services engineering and modern energy technology – for example, heating systems, heat pumps, PV, storage, and intelligent energy control. You don't have to come from classic energy consulting: technical understanding, interest in building technology, and the ability to drive projects forward in a structured manner are crucial.

Responsibilities

• You will take on technical projects for our hotel clients – from inventory and planning to supporting implementation.

• You will conduct on-site inspections, analyze existing heating and building technology, and develop suitable technical solutions together with our team.

• You will plan and evaluate, for example, heating systems, heat pumps, PV systems, battery storage, and other components of building services engineering.

• You will support implementation, coordinate with specialist companies and clients, review technical offers, and keep an eye on deadlines, quality, and costs.

• You will work on our solutions for intelligent energy control in hotels and contribute your technical understanding to further development.

• You will explain technical contexts and recommendations clearly to our clients and act as their central point of contact throughout the project.

Qualifications

Required:

• University degree, technician qualification, or comparable qualification in the field of building services engineering, TGA (Technical Building Equipment), building technology, energy technology, civil engineering, or a related technical field

• Good technical understanding of buildings and their system technology

• Interest in taking on and developing technical projects independently

• Good communication skills – you can explain technical contexts understandably and interact confidently with clients and specialist companies

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

• Willingness to attend on-site appointments with hotel clients throughout Germany

Advantageous – but not a prerequisite:

• Experience in technical project or construction management

• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or control technology

• Experience with heat pumps, PV, battery storage, or building automation

• Experience in energy consulting or energetic building planning

• Knowledge of funding programs (BEG, KfW, BAFA)

• Experience with energy consulting or planning tools
