Job description
For our client at the Ulm location, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) Test System Development starting as soon as possible.
The department designs, develops, constructs, and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare, and avionics systems for vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, and ships.
Responsibilities
- Management of projects for test systems, especially planning of schedules and costs, as well as control of service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with economic goals and technical specifications
- Conceptualization of test systems based on customer requirements with consideration of standard components
- Definition of the required test system architecture with the creation of associated system documentation
- Specification of subsystems and modules, hardware and software within the project team
- Acting as the interface to the internal customer
- Creation of internal offers
- Management of subcontractors in close cooperation with procurement
Qualifications
- Physics/ Electrical Engineering/ Communications Engineering or comparable qualification, at least a Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience:
Measurement technology, at least 3 years
Several years of experience in the development of test systems or experience as
Product responsible for hardware / software - MS Office, at least detailed special knowledge
- The test systems are automated and based on test managers, e.g. TestStand, which integrate Labview and Labwindows applications, among others, or are programmed in C++
- German / English, at least business fluent
- Knowledge in high-frequency technology and/or optronics
- Very good system understanding
