Project Manager (m/f/d) Energy Consulting for Hotels

You will support hoteliers as a central point of contact on their journey to an energy-efficient future. In your role, you will guide them through our structured, multi-stage consulting process – from the initial strategy meeting to final planning. You will translate technical results into understandable recommendations, thereby creating clarity and trust. With communication skills, technical understanding, and organizational talent, you will ensure that each project is implemented in a targeted and practical manner.

Tasks

• You will take on the management of energy consulting projects – from the initial customer contact to the handover of the completed planning.

• You will conduct on-site inspections, analyze the current structural and technical condition, and record relevant details.

• You will clearly and understandably explain to customers which energy efficiency measures are sensible and economical – based on the calculated results.

• You will guide customers through our consulting process and accompany them from stage to stage with salesmanship.

• You will present results in a structured, comprehensible, and convincing manner – both in conversation and in written form.

Qualifications

Required:

• Completed degree or vocational training in architecture, civil engineering, energy consulting, or comparable qualification

• Very good communication skills – you can explain technical content clearly and convincingly

• Experience in dealing with customers, ideally with sales responsibility in a consulting environment

• Technical understanding of buildings, building services, and energy-related contexts

• Structured, self-directed, and solution-oriented way of working

• Willingness to attend occasional on-site appointments with hotel clients (nationwide)

Advantageous:

• Experience in managing energy consulting or construction projects

• Knowledge of funding programs (BEG, KfW, BAFA)

• Experience with energy consulting software such as Envisys or comparable tools

• Enthusiasm for sustainability – especially in the hotel industry
