Corporate Finance / M&A Project Leader (m/w/d)

We are an independent Corporate-Finance-Boutique in Hamburg/Neuer Wall and advise medium-sized companies, entrepreneur families, Family Offices, and financial investors on corporate transactions, succession solutions, and strategic questions. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Corporate Finance / M&A Project Leader (m/w/d), who independently steers transactions and professionally accompanies clients throughout the entire process.

Tasks

• Comprehensive leadership of M&A processes (including Sell-Side, Buy-Side, succession, growth transactions)
• Direct point of contact for entrepreneurs, shareholders, and investors – from the initial idea to closing
• Identification and approach of companies
• Preparation of company and market analyses
• Structuring and valuation of business models including financial analyses and market-oriented company valuations
• Preparation with quality responsibility of all relevant marketing documents (teaser & investment highlights, information memorandum, management presentations, financial models)
• Steering and accompaniment of due diligence processes
• Preliminary preparation and accompaniment of negotiations (LOI, term sheets)
• Support in sales activities and winning new clients

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in the economic or financial field
• Multiple years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking, or private equity, etc.
• Very good knowledge of company valuation, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis
• Confident handling of Excel and presentations
• Outstanding project management talent and joy in direct client contact
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• High quality standards and an entrepreneurial mindset
