Project Manager Metal Construction (m/f/d) - Development to Authorized Signatory

For an established medium-sized company in metal and steel construction, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) who not only accompanies projects technically but also co-designs them entrepreneurially.

The position consciously offers a long-term perspective: With appropriate development, granting of Prokura is intended. We are therefore looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, make decisions, and increasingly contribute to company management in the future.

Responsibilities

• Independent technical and commercial execution of demanding projects in metal and steel construction
  Responsibility for projects from order acceptance to successful handover
• Management of deadlines, costs, quality, and project progress
• Coordination of internal departments as well as external partners and subcontractors
• Liaison with clients, planners, architects, and other project stakeholders
• Awarding and management of larger external service packages
• Claim management as well as support in calculation and contract negotiations
• Ongoing project controlling and early identification of economic and technical risks
• Future assumption of additional entrepreneurial responsibility up to Prokura

Qualifications

• Technical degree, technician/master craftsman qualification, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in independent project execution
• Experience in metal construction, steel construction, structural engineering, or plant engineering is an advantage
• Experience with larger project volumes and corresponding budget responsibility
• Confident handling of costs, deadlines, procurement, and project controlling
• Good knowledge of contract law, ideally VOB/B and BGB
  Negotiation skills with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to truly take responsibility
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented work approach
