WE are an established, owner-managed engineering firm and specialists in the field of infrastructure management with locations in the Rhine-Main-Neckar, Rhine-Ruhr, and Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan regions. We advise, plan, and maintain wastewater systems within building structures as well as underground systems for our clients from the private sector and for public clients. To further strengthen our team at the Bochum location (Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region), we are looking for the earliest possible start date for a.

Responsibilities
- Independent management of sewer rehabilitation and sewer maintenance projects across all service phases of HOAI – from consulting through planning, tendering, and awarding to construction supervision and on-site construction monitoring
- Quantity surveying, planning, and creation of specifications (LV)
- Support of the awarding and purchasing process for the client
- Ensuring and controlling quality, costs, and deadlines
- Continuous customer support and development as a central point of contact
- Reporting and project documentation to internal and external stakeholders
- Administrative and on-site project management
- Active participation in shaping our AI-supported work processes – we rely on modern, digital workflows and welcome colleagues who help shape this change
Profile
- Completed studies in civil engineering, further training as a state-certified construction technician, or comparable qualification (e.g., environmental engineering, supply and disposal technology)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in sewer rehabilitation, sewer maintenance, or comparable infrastructure measures – this position is not suitable for entry-level professionals
- Sound knowledge of VOB and HOAI as well as relevant regulations
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and strong team spirit
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 and industry-standard software applications (NOVA AVA)
- Car driver's license (Class B) and fluent German language skills in speaking and writing
Desirable- Openness to AI-supported tools and digital work processes in planning and project management
- Knowledge of GIS or sewer inspection software (e.g., GeoVision)
- Experience in dealing with municipal clients and authorities
- Entrepreneurial thinking and interest in shaping location development
