Project Leader F&E / R&D (m/w/d), Technical Product Owner
Job description
The Xylem Analytics Germany business unit is represented at four German locations. Our brands WTW, ebro, SI Analytics, and STM have established themselves as leading providers of measurement and analysis instruments in the field of quantitative and qualitative measurement analytics.
We are currently looking for support as Project Leader F&E / R&D (m/w/d), Technical Product Owner at our Mainz, Ingolstadt, or Weilheim (Bavaria) locations. In this role, it's about leading development projects and feasibility studies according to the applicable development processes, as well as technical support for transferred product lines throughout their lifecycle in collaboration with the Leader Sustaining Engineering.
Aufgaben
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams consisting of F&E, PM, Procurement, Supply Chain, QM, CS, Service, AV, Assembly, etc.
- Pioneering technical project/product definition together with the Product Manager
- Developing and documenting conceptual solutions for development tasks; creating developer task lists; planning terms and costs
- Technical and process-oriented support for F&E internal and external project teams in an international environment
- In-depth project management (coordinating all processes, monitoring progress) as well as reporting, countermeasures for deviations from plans, leading project teams
- Product introduction to production & repair, conducting training sessions
- Technical product support for the responsible product lines throughout their lifecycle, including addressing manufacturing-, procurement- and quality-related issues; performing tasks and projects in the Value Engineering area
- Technology monitoring (observing, evaluating, and identifying technologies relevant to the technical environment of the responsible product lines)
Qualifikation
- SUCCESSFUL completion of an engineering degree or comparable education
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of project management and leading interdisciplinary project teams
- Advantageous: Experience in the field of measurement technology and/or optical instruments
- Pronounced structured, organized working style as well as analytical thinking
- High communication skills, flexibility, and assertiveness
- Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
