Job description
First off, so we don't waste each other's time: We're not looking for someone who just moves tickets from left to right. We're looking for someone who will contradict a client – with good arguments and data to back them up.
If the word "approval process" makes you inwardly sigh, this isn't for you. If you already have a follow-up question in your head at the word "business value": read on.
Who we are
creativestyle is an e-commerce agency with a German-Polish setup: project management in Munich, development in Krakow and Rybnik. Over 120 shops implemented, around 110 people, clients like benuta, NKD, BRAX, CEWE Fotobuch, Einhell, Rieker, and Bergzeit.
This year we really cleaned up: Agency of the Year, plus two awards together with our clients – Best Customer Experience with benuta, Best Mobile Experience with Bergzeit.
What that means in everyday life:
- Everyone here has a technical background. The management included.
- 50% freedom, 50% responsibility. Both apply simultaneously.
- Mistakes are lessons for us, not a blame game. We are reluctant to step into the same river twice.
- We are not corporate. However, we are not unreliable either – and if you think those exclude each other, we'll gladly prove you wrong.
- We don't take on projects we don't feel like doing. We only clean up what we've started ourselves.
Why we are filling this position right now
Two reasons, both honest:
1. We are expanding our PIM and ERP business. Starting next year, we will offer Pimcore and Odoo. We are looking for someone who not only manages these projects but also shows clients the difference between a clean data model and an expensive migration in workshops.
2. We are reinventing the PM role: In the age of AI, simply writing tickets is no longer enough – we are innovation drivers, not a workbench! For us, it's about measurable impact, real product thinking, and AI innovations. So you're stepping into a role that you can actively shape.
Responsibilities
Your mission
Manage Projects – from start to operation. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing large e-commerce projects: Discovery, concept, kickoff, go-live, and the period thereafter. Technically, we operate in Shopware, Adobe Commerce / Magento, commercetools, Pimcore, and Storyblok.
Be the person where everything comes together. You are the main point of contact for our German-speaking clients and the bridge to the development teams in Poland. You translate customer needs into clean solutions, and you bring the team's ideas back to the client.
Impact – and make it measurable. We mean measurable literally: every initiative includes a KPI and a tracking concept to demonstrate before and after.
Think like a Product Owner. Treat the product as your own! If a feature, design, or prioritization doesn't convince you, speak up openly. If the business value is unclear, stop the implementation until clarity is achieved. The final decision rests with the client, of course – but nothing is implemented blindly here.
And the usual stuff. You reliably keep project plans, timings, budgets, and status reports on track. You moderate meetings, workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives in such a way that everyone knows what's going on afterwards. You identify risks before they become problems.
Your specialization: PIM or ERP
This is where the difference to a classic PM role lies. You bring one of these with you:
PIM (Pimcore) – You know what product data really looks like before it's pretty: data models, attributes, variants, channels, translations. You have already managed a migration from a developed Excel landscape and still believed in the project afterwards.
ERP (Odoo) – Inventories, prices, orders, invoices, interfaces. You can assess what belongs in the ERP, what belongs in the shop, and what belongs in neither.
Having both would be bragging – but we wouldn't mind.
Are you from a comparable world, just with different systems (Akeneo, Contentserv, SAP, Business Central)? Then still contact us. We are interested in whether you understand the interrelationships, not which logo was on the login screen.
Qualifications
You are our person if
- You have at least 3 years of project management experience in digital environments or e-commerce – from the initial idea to operation.
- You can talk technically: APIs, PIM, ERP, interfaces. You don't have to program yourself. But you should understand what the developers are arguing about.
- Scrum and Kanban are your tools, and you can operate Jira, Confluence, and Miro in your sleep.
- You speak fluent German (C2) and very good English – our clients are in the DACH region, our teams are in Poland.
- You can read between the lines and recognize needs before they are stated in the briefing.
- You can create a roadmap from a blank sheet: backlog, milestones, budget, timing.
- You already use AI tools in your daily life – or are very eager to change that in the coming months.
- You still know what to do when the deadline is tomorrow and the problem is today.
You collect bonus points with experience on the retailer side and with Shopware and/or Magento.
We are building an inclusive team. Apply regardless of gender, age, origin, orientation, religion, or disability – we are interested in what you can do and how you think.
Benefits
What you get with us
- €70,000 – €85,000, depending on experience and specialization. We'll discuss concrete numbers in the first conversation, not after the third round.
- Innovation budget for PoCs and your own ideas – intentionally designed as an investment, not as leftover stock.
- Training budget including certifications (e.g., Shopware, Pimcore, …).
- Flexible working hours and home office. Work adapts to your life, not the other way around.
- Office with a roof terrace in TRI Munich – plus an MVV ticket so you can get there.
- MacBook Pro and iPhone, with proper peripherals included.
- Team events in Germany and Poland. Epic trips to Poland and the legendary revenge of the Polish crew at Oktoberfest – a tradition with a guarantee of success!
- Coffee, drinks, and fruit. We have to mention that these days.
Sound like you?
Then we look forward to your application!
