Project Leader / Building Automation Leader MSR and Building Automation (m/w/d)

BUILDING AUTOMATION is more than just a control panel with flashing lights to you? You understand how MSR technology, DDC, commissioning, interfaces, and construction flow together – and want to take responsibility for projects where technology really works?

We are looking for an experienced person for the area of MSR and building automation as part of direct placement for a well-established mid-sized company in the technical building equipment industry. The company plans and realizes technical building systems across multiple trades and combines electrical engineering, HLS, MSR, and project implementation in a practical environment.

This position is ideal for people who know building automation not just theoretically but also in everyday project work, on site, and in coordination with customers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Tasks

You will take responsibility for ongoing construction projects in the area of MSR and building automation. You will steer and coordinate employees, subcontractors, materials, and workflows, ensuring that quality, deadlines, and results align.

You will support technical planning, calculations, accounting, and documentation, while keeping an eye on the administrative side of projects. This includes technical planning, calculation, accounting, changes management, and monitoring construction site results.

You will work closely with adjacent areas of plant engineering together, synchronize construction workflows, and serve as a point of contact for internal and external project participants. Customer contact and the further development of the department can also be part of your role.

In short: You connect technology, organization, and leadership in an area that is becoming increasingly important for modern buildings.

Qualification

You have a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a technical education with further training to become a master or technician completed.

Important are experiences in MSR technology, building automation, DDC, GLT or comparable systems as well as a good understanding of construction workflows and project management. Knowledge of common standards, technical regulations, and calculation bases is helpful.

Experience with specific system manufacturers is an advantage, but what's most important is not just a single brand. More important is that you understand building automation in general, can explain technical relationships, and act structured, cost-conscious, and solution-oriented in project work.

You should be confident, clear in communication, and enjoy bringing together technical teams, customers, and project participants.
