Special Structures Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a full-time, unlimited Special Structures Engineer (m/w/d) at the earliest possible time for the Waste Management Companies of the City of Ulm (EBU) in the Department of Sewage and Waterways. The Waste Management Companies of the City of Ulm (EBU) plan, build, and operate a sewer network with over 600 km of canals and 100 special structures (Pumps, siphons, etc.). The tasks include: * Planning and design of special structures for wastewater treatment plants and sewage systems; * Coordination with other departments and stakeholders; * Monitoring and controlling construction projects; * Ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements; * Collaboration with the operating team to ensure smooth operation of the facilities. Requirements: * University degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or a related field; * Several years of experience in planning and designing special structures for wastewater treatment plants and sewage systems; * Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g. Water Resources Act, Waste Management Act); * Excellent communication and collaboration skills; * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
