Job description

At inetz, we reliably bring energy to people – and to the region where we live – with a powerful infrastructure.

As a grid operator, we are responsible for the planning, expansion, and safe operation of power, natural gas, heat, and drinking water grids in Chemnitz and Southern Saxony. With technical know-how, reliability, and the goal of actively shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow.

This is only possible together with people who take action and take responsibility. That's why we create a working environment where everyone can contribute, grow, and make a real impact.

Tasks
  • You support the further development of grid operation processes as well as the digitalization and automation of technical workflows.
  • You manage and coordinate projects in power grid operations from conception to implementation.
  • You develop technical and strategic solutions for the future of our power grid.
  • You ensure that projects are implemented on time, to quality standards, and within budget.
  • You successfully initiate digitalization and optimization initiatives.
  • You work closely with grid control, planning/construction, as well as external service providers and authorities, and manage project implementation.
  • You prepare analyses and decision-making bases for operational issues.
  • You actively contribute to ensuring supply security, grid stability, and operational safety.
  • You help shape processes, standards, and organizational structures.
  • You participate in the on-call service and support the operational management of disruptions and grid events.

Profile
  • You have a completed university or university of applied sciences degree (Diplom or Master's), preferably in electrical engineering, energy technology, or utility engineering.
  • You have good knowledge of how power grids function and ideally possess basic knowledge of energy industry contexts.
  • You have experience in managing technical projects and in collaborating with different departments (project management).
  • You possess several years of professional experience, ideally in the energy industry environment.
  • You hold a driver's license class 3 or B.
  • Organizational skills, goal orientation, strong communication, and assertiveness characterize you.
  • Analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial view of contexts round off your profile.

We offer
  • Collective agreement remuneration with a 13th salary for securing your own standard of living.
  • 38-hour week for full-time employment, so you regularly have time for family and hobbies.
  • Modern company agreements, for example on flextime or working from a flexible location ("home office"), which bring more flexibility to your daily work.
  • 30 days of vacation plus paid time off on Christmas and New Year's Eve, so you can also recover sufficiently and have time for family and friends.
  • An attractive company pension plan, for which the company provides subsidies and/or pays contributions, so we can plan for your retirement together.
  • Supplementary health insurance, which can also be extended to the family upon request, so you are better covered.
  • Offer of subsidized canteen meals for a healthy and varied diet.
  • Sports activities and health measures, so you can stay fit and healthy.
  • Offer of a subsidized job ticket and Deutschland-Jobticket for commuting to the center of Chemnitz.
  • The option to purchase a company bike (bicycle leasing for private use), as we care about the environment and your health.
  • And much more.
