Job description
Within the scope of demanding energy projects, grid connections for wind energy, photovoltaic, and battery storage systems are planned and technically implemented. The focus is on substations, cable routes, protection and control technology, as well as technical and approval-related coordination with grid operators.
Responsibilities
- Project planning and technical conception of grid connections for wind energy, photovoltaic, and battery storage projects, including offer preparation according to HOAI
- Planning of the required grid infrastructure in the voltage range of 110 to 380 kV, including substations as well as primary and secondary technology, AIS/GIS, protection and control technology, and EZA controllers
- Control of cable route planning and development of suitable strategies for the required approval procedures
- Execution and coordination of grid connection applications and maturity level procedures for generation and storage systems
- Coordination of technical and regulatory requirements with transmission and distribution system operators, as well as coordination of relevant project interfaces
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification, for example, as a state-certified technician (m/f/d)
- Sound professional experience in grid connection planning for generation and battery storage systems
- Very good knowledge in the planning and technical design of grid infrastructure, especially in the high-voltage sector
- Proficient use of relevant technical regulations and connection guidelines, especially VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120, and 4130
- Experience in technical coordination with relevant grid operators and project participants
