BERNARD Group is expanding its team and is looking for a

Project Engineer with Option to Project Manager (m/f/d) Landscape Planning

• You will work on energy transition projects (e.g., pipeline construction, hydrogen projects)
• You will create and process documents for permitting planning
• You will conduct site surveys
• You will evaluate, among other things, animal and plant habitats
• You will develop avoidance, mitigation, and compensation measures
• You will support ongoing project communication (presentations, statements, community events)
• You will work on projects in interdisciplinary teams

• Completed education in landscape planning, forestry, biology, geography,
• environmental sciences, or equivalent
• Knowledge in the creation of environmental reports, FFH (Habitats Directive) impact assessments,
• landscape management accompanying plans, and species protection legal contributions is an advantage
• Knowledge of GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and AutoCAD is an advantage
• Knowledge of mapping biotope types or individual species groups is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience is an advantage
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
