As of now, we are looking for an experienced
Project Engineer Hydrogeology / Water Economy / Earth Sciences (m/w/d)
You would like to bring your expertise in hydrology specifically and work on challenging water economy projects? Then you're exactly right with us. In our department in Halsbrücke near Freiberg, you will work on a variety of topics around groundwater, drinking water protection and water law issues. You shape processes actively and are part of a team that brings together expertise and practice. We work trustingly together, support each other and rely on open, solution-oriented communication. Tasks
- Participation in projects in the field of hydrogeology and water economy
- Counseling of customers and authorities on drinking water, mineral water, mining and contaminated sites as well as the implementation of the Water Framework Directive
- Interdisciplinary project work with interfaces to surface geothermal energy
- Preparation of expert reports, models and concepts
- Accompaniment of measurement programs and analyses
Qualification
- Degree in Earth Sciences, Hydrogeology, Environmental Technology or comparable with a focus on hydrogeology
- Experience in applied hydrogeology and/or water economy
- Desirable: Knowledge of geohydraulic modeling and GIS software
- Travel readiness as well as a driving license class B
- Very good German language skills (C1), good English language skills
