Civil Engineering Project Engineer (m/f/d) BESS and 400 kV Substation Projects

The company is part of the ERGON Group and specializes in the planning, implementation, and construction of energy infrastructure projects in the European and international market.

We are looking for a highly motivated Civil Engineering Project Engineer to strengthen our team for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and 400 kV Substation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of all civil and structural works related to BESS and high-voltage substation components. This position requires close collaboration with various engineering and project management teams to ensure project completion on time and within budget, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Planning and analysis of civil structures in connection with BESS and 400 kV substations, including foundations, earthworks, drainage systems, and access roads.
• Creation and review of construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Conducting site assessments and surveys for data collection for construction planning and execution.
• Collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project solutions.
• Control and supervision of construction execution in compliance with plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
• Identification and minimization of potential planning and construction risks, as well as development of effective solutions for challenges throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Creation and maintenance of project-related documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Coordination with contractors, material suppliers, and authorities to coordinate project activities.
• Support of the procurement process through evaluation of bids and specifications for construction services.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in civil engineering, particularly in the area of BESS and high-voltage substation projects.
• Proficiency in construction planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
• Thorough knowledge of national and international engineering standards and norms (e.g., ACI, AASHTO, Eurocode).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills in collaboration with various engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities effectively in a dynamic work environment.
