With the transfer of ALPINA brand rights to BMW, a new chapter begins for the group. The automotive passion will be continued under the independent brand Bovensiepen with a new orientation. Six departments form the backbone of the company group, which understands transformation as an opportunity. For the management of our departments, especially for our internal and external development projects, we are looking for a project controller who forms the economic backbone of these departments and lays the foundation for decisions that will shape the company in its next phase.

Tasks

Your task – Numbers with impact

As a project controller, you will support our project leaders and be responsible for the economic management of development projects at Bovensiepen Group. You will translate project plans and budgets into steering-relevant information, accompany transformation projects from a controlling perspective, and support investment decisions through economic analyses. You think in connections, not in columns – and know how to speak with people who don't bring a controlling vocabulary.

What you'll do

• Project budgeting, ongoing cost control, and rolling forecasting for internal small-series projects and external customer projects – Budget, forecast, and deviation analysis along the entire project timeline
• Further development of reporting structures and KPI dashboards that bring real decision-making benefits
• Closely working with project management, development, procurement, and sales – numbers are translated into operational consequences
• Support in creating economic analyses and investment calculations
• Further development of controlling processes and tools, especially in the ERP system (ideally Microsoft Business Central) and BI environments

You're the economic anchor in a project portfolio that stands for the strategic future of Bovensiepen Group.

Qualification

Your profile – Structure in your head, impact in practice

You are not a number cruncher, but someone who makes context out of data and decisions out of context. You feel at home in projects just as much as in calculation tables – and bring the communication strength with you to convey results clearly and addressably to developers or management.

What you bring

• 3-5 years of professional experience in project controlling, ideally in the automotive industry or a comparable environment (machine building, special manufacturing, engineering-to-order)
• Degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field
• Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Business Central) and Excel, as well as common BI tools
• Outstanding analytical strength, combined with the ability to communicate results clearly and addressably
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking

What we're looking for additionally

• Experience in a family-owned company or an environment with short decision-making paths
• Knowledge of Power BI or comparable visualization tools
• Affinity to the automotive world and understanding of high-quality products
• Experience in developing reporting structures
• Interest in a role that grows with the company
