Job description

What awaits you

The Private Institute for Clinic Management (PKM) is a leading further education and consulting institute in the healthcare sector. What began as a nationally recognized provider for the qualification of specialists is now a holistic partner for education and consulting. In the area of operational medical controlling, we take on central tasks as a service provider for clinics, such as primary coding, coding revision, and data analysis. We work with a permanent team and a large network of experienced freelancers.

To support the divisional management in operational medical controlling, we are looking for a project assistant in part-time or full-time, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the coordination and deployment planning of our freelancers

  • Co-management of our clinic projects in administrative and organizational matters

  • Involvement in contract management, e.g., in the creation, administration, and follow-up of contracts with clinics and freelancers

  • Support in setting up and managing IT access and authorizations for clinics and freelancers

  • Contribution to smooth project execution as a contact person for organizational and technical questions

  • Support for management and divisional management in operational project management

  • Other tasks according to your personal abilities

Qualifications

  • Work experience in a clinic setting, e.g., as an MFA, registered nurse, in patient management, or in administration, is desirable

  • Strong IT affinity and confident use of digital tools, platforms, and user administration (mandatory)

  • Solution-oriented, independent, and structured way of working

  • Organizational talent, even when many people and projects need to be managed simultaneously

  • Knowledge in coding or medical billing is an advantage, but not a prerequisite

  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and initiative

Benefits

  • A highly motivated team with a lot of room for maneuver

  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes

  • Modern workplaces in the heart of Cologne

  • Home office component (approx. 20%) possible

  • Flexible working time model with the option to increase from part-time to full-time

  • Exciting perspectives in a growing company in the healthcare sector

  • Opportunities for personal and professional development, e.g., through our own academy
