Project Engineer (m/w/d) Innovative Ship Systems
The Research and Development Center Fachhochschule Kiel GmbH, a subsidiary of the Fachhochschule Kiel, conducts approximately 150 projects per year for private and public clients. For the Marine Technologies department, we are looking for a full-time Project Engineer (m/w/d) Innovative Ship Systems.
Tasks
You can expect:

Responsibility for ship system technology

Care of ship systems, such as
-
Energy management (batteries, possibly fuel cells, etc.)

Propulsion

Onboard data technology
-
Nautical systems
-
Auxiliary and assistance systems (e.g. hydraulic, magnetic etc. anchoring aids)

Co-design of systems in new construction, etc., through

Setting up system designs and corresponding specifications and load sheets

Evaluation of technical offer documents in the context of tendering processes

Carrying out system technical inspections and commissioning

Support for defect and warranty management

Support for innovation paths, e.g., through

Setting up databases and evaluating recordings
