The Medical University of Vienna, with around 6,500 employees and 8,600 students, is one of the largest biomedical research and teaching institutions in Europe. The Christian Doppler Laboratory for Metaflammation in Peritoneal Dialysis (CDL-PRIME-PD) at the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine seeks a Project Administrator (m/w/d) from March 1, 2026, part-time (15-30 hours per week) and fixed-term for one year (with option to extend).

Your tasks:

* Accounting and financial reporting, budget monitoring, reporting, personnel matters, and interface between CDL-PRIME-PD, Christian Doppler Society, Medical University of Vienna, and partner company
* Organizational support for internal and external events
* Support in managing grants, reports, and scientific documents
* Support in submitting manuscripts to scientific journals

Your profile:

* Your working style is proactive, flexible, and characterized by accuracy, structuring, and self-reliance
* You are a sociable and communicative personality
* Very good communication skills in German and English
* IT knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel), desirable e.g. Endnote, Illustrator, Typo3
* Experience in creating and editing texts & graphics

The minimum monthly salary for this position (Uni-KV, VerwGr. IIIb) is currently Euro 2,348,- gross (14 times per year) on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) and may be increased through the offsetting of relevant previous experience and other compensation components related to the specific job.
