Project Manager

As a fiber optic project manager, you will be responsible for the complete realization and follow-up of fiber optic projects. You will maintain oversight, from preparation to handover, and manage various teams within our organization. Thanks to your dedication and management, telecom networks will be realized according to the highest quality standards.

Specific tasks within this role:

• Managing project teams and coordinating activities related to fiber optic installations.
• Drawing up, monitoring, and adjusting project plans, budgets, and KPIs.
• Coaching, motivating, and developing city project managers, site managers, and coordinators.
• Visiting construction sites and staying closely involved in the practical execution.
• Ensuring excellent communication flow between stakeholders, technicians, and clients.
• Building sustainable client relationships and managing contacts commercially.
• Guaranteeing quality, safety, and environmentally conscious solutions within each project.
• Overseeing the timely and correct delivery of all fiber optic networks.

Profile

Our ideal candidate brings the following skills and knowledge:

• Master's degree or equivalent through experience in a technical field.
• Strong affinity with telecom, infrastructure, or fiber projects is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience in project management (leadership, coaching, and strong analytical skills).
• IT-minded and excellent command of Excel and Office packages.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and French. English is an asset.
• You are results-oriented, customer-oriented, and have an eye for quality and safety.
• People manager and inspirer who motivates teams to achieve their best.
• Environmentally conscious, stress-resistant, and flexible in a changing project environment.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
