Projectmanager
Job description
For NVWA, we are looking for a Projectmanager.
You strengthen the Informatiemanagement department of NVWA as a temporary, experienced project leader for complex ICT projects within a component-oriented landscape. In this role, you are responsible from the delivery organization for timely, safe, and qualitative delivery of ICT solutions. You steer integrally on time, money, quality, information, organization, and risks (GOKIT).
You lead projects that are often divided across multiple teams within the component-oriented landscape. A part of your work you direct directly via a temporary project team, while other activities are subsumed by existing, continuous improvement teams. You exercise control over all these components, monitors the coherence between the different components and ensures that all efforts come together in one integral and coherent end result.
When necessary, you take on the role of secretary to the steering committee for the projects for which you are responsible. You prepare decision-making, sets agenda items and concept decisions, and ensures a careful follow-up of action points. The steering committee advises you continuously on progress, risks, and strategic options. You are the connecting link between the governing and operational layers of the organization.
Within this function, you work closely with the business side. You support in setting wishes, setting priorities, and organizing user acceptance. You translate functional needs into concrete and executable plans, sets these out in design documents and approach plans, and advises on feasibility and impact within the existing component-oriented landscape.
You work intensively with architects, product owners, suppliers, administrators, and other internal specialists. You ensure that all stakeholders remain aligned, decisions are clearly recorded, and implementation fits within the existing architecture-, security- and quality frameworks.
You move in an environment where continuous improvement, agile working, and steering at chain level stand central. This requires flexibility, administrative sensitivity, and the ability to maintain overview and direction in a dynamic context with multiple parallel tracks.
The NVWA is renewing its ICT landscape through a large-scale renewal project by replacing technologies and working on componentization of the landscape. This renewal is divided into separate assignments, depending on budget availability.
