Project Manager Architecture

For Nebest Adviesgroep, we are looking for a Project Manager Architecture. You will work on primarily large-scale and complex construction projects for, among others, housing corporations, contractors, developers, and government agencies. With your architectural knowledge and experience in project management and/or site supervision, you will maintain an overview of the entire construction process. You will connect the involved parties, monitor agreements made, and ensure that technical, contractual, and financial aspects are managed.

What you will do

As a Project Manager Architecture, you will represent the client and be a crucial link between all parties within the project. You will primarily work on larger, complex projects, interspersed with some smaller projects. You will monitor execution, identify deviations and risks, and advise in a timely manner on appropriate measures. You will work closely with project leaders, advisors, contractors, and government agencies.

A selection of the tasks:

• Oversee execution according to advisory reports, specifications, drawings, and quality requirements;
• Act as site supervisor on behalf of the client and point of contact for executing parties;
• Monitor contractual agreements within UAV and UAV-GC contracts, among others;
• Oversee compliance with safety and environmental requirements;
• Identify financial and other project risks and advise on appropriate measures;
• Coordinate with project leaders, advisors, executing parties, and government agencies;
• Balance the various interests and ensure clear communication within the project.

Where you will work

Nebest is an independent engineering and consultancy firm with over 260 specialists and expertise in inspection, technical advice, and project management within construction, infrastructure, industry, and civil engineering.

You will join the Architecture team. This department focuses on architectural, building physics, and structural materials research on existing real estate. From inspections and research in its own laboratory to advice and guidance on repair and new construction work. The goal: to make buildings safer and more sustainable and to extend their lifespan. Within Nebest, you will have a lot of freedom and trust and work in an informal, open environment with colleagues from various disciplines.

In addition, you possess:

• Bachelor's (Hbo) work and thinking level and a degree in Architecture or equivalent;
• Several years of experience as a Project Leader or Project Manager at a contractor, consultancy firm, or government agency;
• Demonstrable knowledge of contract types and current laws and regulations within the field;
• Strong communication skills and a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
• The ability to connect different parties and collaborate with managers, specialists, and project leaders;
• Commercial skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
