Project Leader Residential Construction

As a Project Leader Residential Construction, you are the central point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, engineering firms, and clients, ensuring that each project is realized smoothly, with quality, and within the agreed timelines and budgets.

In this role, you combine technical insight with strong organizational and people-oriented leadership. You maintain an overview of multiple files, make decisions where necessary, and simultaneously monitor progress on the construction site. Thanks to your approach, houses, apartments, social housing, large residential areas, and utility projects are followed up efficiently and professionally.

• Independent management of construction projects from preparation to handover.
• Preparation, monitoring, and adjustment of the project schedule.
• Monitoring of budgets, profitability, additional and less work, and financial reporting.
• Coordination of site managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineering firms.
• Leading site meetings and project meetings.
• Ensuring technical quality, safety, environment, and compliance with agreements.
• Identifying and managing project risks and bottlenecks.
• Maintaining a constructive collaboration with clients and construction partners.
• Ensuring timely, correct, and qualitative handover.

For this position, we are looking for an experienced project leader with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the construction sector. You have a solid technical foundation and feel at home in the follow-up of residential construction projects, apartments, or larger residential and utility sites. You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly, and effortlessly keep multiple stakeholders aligned.

You are someone who takes responsibility, thinks ahead, and dares to make decisions. You combine a hands-on approach with a good helicopter view and know how to make a difference both on site and in discussions. Experience with financial follow-up, planning, and quality control is a significant asset.

• Master or Bachelor in Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project leader in construction.
• Experience with independently managing construction projects from A to Z.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good financial insight and attention to profitability.
• Decisive, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented.
• Coaching team player with a practical mindset.
• Obvious focus on safety, quality, and customer orientation.
• Willingness to actively follow up in the region of Aartselaar, Antwerp, and Flemish Brabant.
