As a Project Leader Sprinkler, you are responsible for sprinkler projects at Schiphol: from renovations and optimizations to complex new constructions. You work in an environment with high demands on safety, continuity, and quality. You interact daily with specialists in, among others, sprinkler technology, BMI, and B&O.
In your role:

• You are involved from the design phase and contribute early on with technical solutions.
• You identify and analyze risks and translate them into planning and budget.
• You bear full responsibility for your projects from order to completion.
• You are responsible for an efficient approach regarding cost control (forecasting).
• You provide periodic reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• You manage the project team, consisting of, among others, an engineer/technician, work planner, drafter, and installation manager.
• You monitor contract agreements, identify deviations, and initiate additional work where necessary.
• You ensure strict adherence to safety regulations at the airport.
• You keep internal stakeholders and the client accurately informed of the progress.

Your work area is Schiphol. You are part of the specialized Fire Safety team within BAM.

Your team

You will join the Fire Safety team of BAM Building Services at Schiphol. This team consists of dedicated specialists who work closely together on safe and reliable solutions within a unique environment where technology, safety, and continuous operation converge. Despite BAM's size, the team feels small, warm, and involved due to the informal working atmosphere and short communication lines.

This is you

You are a natural organizer with technical insight. You maintain an overview, take initiative, and continuously look for ways to improve processes. You communicate persuasively, work in a structured manner, and monitor the quality of the work.
Additionally, you have:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
• At least five years of experience as a project leader in the installation or fire safety industry.
• Vocational certifications such as VSI B / VSI C or Sprinkler Technology 1 or 2.
• Affinity with complex environments such as airports, healthcare institutions, or industry.
