Project Leader Planned Maintenance

Job description

What you will do:

As a Planned Maintenance Project Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously, with a focus on periodic painting work. You will work closely with project support staff who handle calculations and work preparation, while you bear the final responsibility for the progress of the projects. You will ensure that everything is executed according to the agreed schedule and within budget. Additionally, you will regularly discuss progress, planning, and expectations with project leaders from housing associations.

You will have regular contact with project leaders from housing associations to discuss progress, planning, and any changes. Through your clear communication, you will ensure good collaboration between all involved parties, so everyone knows where they stand. You will also coordinate internally with colleagues to ensure projects run smoothly.

Furthermore, you will monitor budgets and deadlines and collaborate with project support staff on maintenance plans and smart solutions for property maintenance. What makes this role unique is the combination of responsibility, collaboration, and social impact. You will build long-term relationships with housing associations and contribute visibly to the improvement and sustainability of social rental housing.

What we offer:

  • You will earn a salary between € 4,200 and € 5,700 gross per 4 weeks on a full-time basis, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience;
  • Pension scheme where De Variabele pays 75% of the premium, with the option to voluntarily save an additional 25%;
  • A 32 to 40-hour work week;
  • Attractive secondary employment conditions, including 30 vacation days (full-time) and 8% vacation pay;
  • An informal atmosphere where job satisfaction is characteristic of the organization;
  • A place in a committed team where collaboration is paramount;
  • A company car;
  • Room to contribute ideas and to grow;
  • A work culture where we do it together: honest, open, and professional.
  • Fun company outings and team activities;
  • A package of flexible employment conditions, including a lease bike plan, discount on a gym membership, discounts at preferred suppliers, and collective insurances;
  • The opportunity to further develop yourself, both personally and professionally, with coaching and training that suits your ambitions.

Requirements:

You are an organized and results-oriented project leader who gets energy from managing multiple projects simultaneously. You have a strongly developed sense of planning, communication, and cost control, and you can collaborate well with both internal teams and clients. Additionally, you possess:

  • Minimum MBO (secondary vocational education) work and thinking level, with experience in project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating maintenance projects, preferably with painting and/or property maintenance.
  • Experience in monitoring project budgets and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and experience in managing expectations of different stakeholders.
  • A background in painting is a plus, but not a requirement.
