Project Leader Implementation Environmental Act

For Gemeente Loon op Zand, we are looking for a Project Leader Implementation Environmental Act.
With the introduction of the Environmental Act, you are responsible for acting independently as project leader/program manager to realize an integral environmental plan within the municipality. You will work on preparing and implementing the environmental plan, which serves as a legal and policy basis for almost all spatial developments. Your goal is to prepare the organization for the integral environmental plan and ensure that both at the policy level and in implementation, the Act is implemented.

You build upon prepared work; a transition plan has already been set up and a rule set for the core area of De Moer lies in the fine-tuning phase. You take the lead and are responsible for the correct and timely implementation of the Environmental Act. In doing so, you ensure that Gemeente LOZ has its processes aligned and secured hereon.

Your profile

• You have demonstrable autonomous work experience in the field of:
  • Municipal spatial planning
  • The Environmental Act and its implementation within municipalities
  • Policy development on the level of tourism and recreation
• You have demonstrable work experience within a municipal organization with a maximum of 30,000 inhabitants.
• You possess knowledge of and are familiar with Natura 2000 areas.
• You have experience with initiatives that contribute to and have a significant impact on local society and municipal processes in multiple areas.
