Project Leader Cybersecurity Congress | RDI

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Leader for the Dutch Inspectorate for Digital Infrastructure (RDI). The RDI is committed to a securely connected Netherlands and works on current themes such as cybersecurity, digital resilience, AI, 5G, and digital infrastructure.

The assignment takes place within the Digital Resilience directorate and focuses on organizing NISDUC 2027 (NIS Directive User Community), an international congress in the field of digital resilience, cybersecurity, and supervision. During this congress, supervisors, governments, and professionals from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg will gather to exchange knowledge and experiences on NIS2 and cybersecurity, among other topics.

As Project Leader, you will be responsible for the substantive and organizational management of the congress and ensure the successful realization of the program and the collaboration with all involved parties.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will lead the entire NISDUC 2027 program.

• You will be ultimately responsible for the organization of the international cybersecurity congress.

• You will develop, manage, and populate the various program lines and tracks.

• You will coordinate with involved government organizations, supervisors, and partners.

• You will organize international knowledge exchange and collaboration within the congress program.

• You will manage the involved event agency.

• You will monitor the planning, quality, progress, and results of the congress.

• You will ensure a professional and substantively strong program around digital resilience and cybersecurity.

What do we ask?

Requirements:

• You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a project leader.

• You have at least 2 years of experience within the cybersecurity domain.

• You have at least 2 years of experience managing the organization of substantive congresses.

• You have experience with complex assignments and extensive projects with a high risk of failure.

• You possess a project management certification.

Additional wishes:

• You have experience as a project leader within the national government.

• You have experience with organizing cybersecurity events.

• You have experience with collaboration partners within the cybersecurity domain, such as the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
