Project Utility Engineer

The Project Utility Engineer supports the delivery of IPAG Lead Implementing Agency (LA) scopes for 400 kV, 230 kV and 66 kV cable infrastructure projects. The role focuses on utility coordination, technical submissions, authority liaison, underground space optimisation, and construction-stage support. Candidates with stronger experience and authority-handling exposure will be considered for a Senior appointment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Utility Coordination & Planning - Coordinate utility plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones; 2. Technical Submissions - Prepare and submit technical submissions to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; 3. Authority Liaison - Establish and maintain effective relationships with authorities, stakeholders, and other key parties; 4. Underground Space Optimisation - Conduct site investigations and optimise underground space utilisation for cable infrastructure projects; 5. Construction-Stage Support - Provide technical support during construction stages to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Candidates should have a strong understanding of utility coordination principles, experience in preparing technical submissions, and the ability to work effectively with authorities and stakeholders.
