Project Test & Commissioning Manager (PrCOM) Purpose of the Job: The PrCOM is responsible for ensuring that all projects are properly tested and commissioned before being handed over to the customer. This includes planning, coordinating and executing testing and commissioning activities, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a comprehensive project test and commissioning plan, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation. - Coordinate and execute testing and commissioning activities for all projects, ensuring that they are properly tested and commissioned before being handed over to the customer. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as those related to safety, quality and environmental impact. - Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement and construction, to ensure that project test and commissioning plans are aligned with overall project objectives. - Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and expertise to complete testing and commissioning activities successfully. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing and commissioning activities, and develop contingency plans as needed. - Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders and other key partners to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the quality of service provided. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, project management or a related discipline. - At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation industry. - Strong understanding of testing and commissioning processes and procedures, including those related to safety, quality and environmental impact. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with testing and commissioning activities.
