Project Planner - Renewable Plants (Ref. 2026-257)

aizoOn, a globally operating, independent technology and consulting company, is looking for a Project Planner - Renewable Plants.

The resource will be integrated into aizoOn's Energy division and will operate as a consultant at the technical office of an important international entity active in the renewable energy sector (photovoltaic, wind, and electrical substations).

The role involves involvement in projects during the pre-construction (bid, permitting, survey, FID) and construction phases, with functional reporting to the Head of PMO and a Senior Planning Manager.

Activities included

The resource will primarily be responsible for:

• Planning and managing multiple projects in parallel within the renewables sector;
• Development, updating, and management of Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 project programs, in the pre-construction and construction phases;
• Elaboration and management of the master project program, integrating contractor, discipline, and Client activity plans;
• Setting up and monitoring project baselines and the critical path;
• Application of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and performance analysis through KPIs;
• Preparation of S-curves, manpower histograms, and progress reports;
• Definition of recovery plans in case of delays;
• Review of contractor planning documentation during tender and construction phases;
• Monitoring work progress and supporting the analysis of any claims;
• Support for reporting activities and project progress meetings;
• Collaboration with other project functions (e.g., cost control) by providing planning and progress data;
• Support for the development of internal procedures and planning templates;
• Potential mentorship and support to Junior Schedulers.

PROFILE

• Degree in Engineering;
• At least 10 years of experience in the role of Project Planner;
• Excellent knowledge of English (Spanish is a preferred qualification).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• At least 5 years of experience in the Energy, Oil&Gas, or Civil sector
• Use of planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Planisware;
• Project Management competencies.
