Project Manager Water&Heat

Do you want to lead projects smoothly and ensure a successful outcome? Are you interested in realizing large-scale infrastructure projects, such as water production centers – tunnel construction (ventilation/HVAC/water mist) – PFAS – heat (skids, pump stations, heat networks)? As Project Manager at Besix Water & Heat, you are responsible for planning, execution, and follow-up of all activities necessary to realize a leading infrastructure project. You lead the project team, as well as subcontractors, with the goal of achieving the predetermined project objectives within the predetermined contribution margins and deadline.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordination, management, and follow-up of all stages in a project, with the goal of realizing large-scale, strategically important, and technically complex, multidisciplinary projects for clients.

Function

• You work together in project teams where specific knowledge is used to lead to a clear added value for the project
• You define the scope, risk, and impact analysis to get a clear picture of the needs and goals
• You set all necessary budgets and project plans (timing, allocation of resources, etc.) to achieve the desired project within the predetermined timing and budget
• You monitor all aspects of the project so that it meets the organizational requirements, methodology, and quality and safety standards
• You actively build your relationship with the internal client and subcontractors and suppliers
• You handle all administrative, commercial, and necessary legal aspects of your project, with special attention to the invoicing plan and payment follow-up
• You have in-depth knowledge of the contract allows you to react promptly to changes and adjustments
• You ensure that safety requirements are respected in the projects for which you are responsible, according to our guidelines and those of the client
• You maintain contacts with other departments to ensure the continuity of the projects
• You have an eye out for other commercial opportunities that you may develop in collaboration with the sales/business development department
• You ensure active information dissemination and feedback to improve project methodology and quality
• You prepare and execute an acceptance plan and ensure a final delivery by adequate follow-up of remaining points
• You direct project engineers, managers, and subcontractors functionally in larger project teams
• You report to the Business Line Manager
