Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and deliverables, ensuring that project goals are met. Responsibilities: * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. * Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. * Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. * Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. * Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. * Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. * Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. * Track project milestones and deliverables. * Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. * Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle. * Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. * Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities throughout the project lifecycle. * Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. * Coordinate and respond to requests for changes to the project scope. * Manage project budget, resource allocation, and procurement. * Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. * Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. * Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. * Supervise project team members and provide guidance and support. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. * Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the construction or infrastructure industry. * 5+ years of experience in a project management role. * Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods. * Understanding of all necessary construction activities and phases. * Familiarity with construction management software, scheduling software, and risk management tools. * Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Ability to manage complex projects and a team of professionals. * Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. * Experience in contract negotiation and management. * Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
