Project Manager

Our client URGENTLY requires a Project Manager for a 12 months Contract in Nerang. The Project Manager will work as part of the Project Planning Team that undertakes the delivery of Transport Planning involving route and link studies and Project Planning including Project Proposal, Options Analysis and Business Cases (OnQ) and utilisation of the Project Assurance Framework (PAF) for projects. Responsibilities includes: Provide high level technical input into planning projects, including advice on methodologies, assumptions and risk management; Manage and coordinate activities of other team members, consultants and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to quality requirements; Assist with the preparation and monitoring of project budgets and schedules; Manage project risks and issues, including proactive identification, assessment and development of mitigation strategies; Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting; Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including project sponsors, consultants, and other government agencies; Undertake project reporting and present project information to various stakeholders. Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Planning or a related discipline; Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, risk management and budget control; Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Transport Planning projects; Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects concurrently; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
