Project Manager – Digital Projects
Job description
Empacta is looking for a Project Manager – Digital Projects for direct hire at their Genoa office, for one of their client companies.
The resource will be responsible for managing and coordinating initiatives related to the development, implementation, and evolution of software solutions to support business processes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to defined timelines, priorities, and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and govern projects by defining objectives, priorities, milestones, timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring constant oversight of progress, costs, and expected results.
- Coordinate involved resources and stakeholders, fostering collaboration among different company functions and ensuring effective alignment throughout all project phases.
- Analyze organizational and business needs, translating them into functional requirements and project guidelines, and supporting the identification of the most suitable solutions.
- Monitor project risks, criticalities, and changes, intervening promptly in managing deviations and proposing corrective actions related to priorities, scope, timelines, and resources.
- Oversee the execution and closure of initiatives, handling documentation, reporting, and monitoring of results, up to the correct implementation of solutions and verification of achieved objectives.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in the role of Project Manager.
- Previous experience in managing digital transformation projects, and in using process analysis and review techniques.
- Native or equivalent Italian speaker (C2 level).
- Good knowledge of the English language (at least B2 level).
- Residence or domicile in Genoa or surrounding areas with availability to work primarily on-site.
Nice to have
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of processes in the logistics sector.
- Knowledge of digital solutions for the supply chain.

Work Location
Genoa (hybrid with predominantly on-site presence)
What is offered
Direct employment with an indicative annual salary package (RAL) of €35,000 - €40,000.
