Tasks

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a technical background and a passion for successfully realizing complex projects?

For our Projects team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of various construction, technical, and facility projects. From complete office fit-outs to critical technical upgrades and the realization of server rooms: you ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the complete satisfaction of the client.

You will work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders and will have full responsibility for projects valued at approximately €25,000 to €1 million.

As a Project Manager, you are the driving force behind the entire project process, from initiation and preparation to execution and delivery.

You are responsible for:

• Leading construction, technical, and facility projects from request to delivery
• Developing and monitoring project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk analyses
• Translating client wishes into concrete project objectives and program requirements
• Managing and coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Monitoring quality, safety, contractual obligations, and commercial objectives
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Managing the daily operational aspects of projects, including on-site supervision
• Ensuring full compliance with CBRE processes, project management guidelines, and QHSE standards
• Preparing and presenting project reports to clients and internal stakeholders
• Identifying new project opportunities and building strong client relationships

No day is the same. One day you will lead a construction meeting on-site, the next day you will present a project update to a steering committee or discuss innovative solutions with a client.

Requirements

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

We are looking for an experienced professional who can successfully combine technical expertise, organization, and stakeholder management.

• Bachelor's degree level of work and thinking, preferably in Construction, Electrical Engineering, Installation Technology, Infrastructure Technology, or a similar field
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with technical or construction projects
• Experience within technical services, construction, real estate, or facility management is a plus
• Strong organizational, commercial, and communication skills
• Experience with budget management, planning, and contract management
• Leadership qualities and the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
• A proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused attitude
• VCA-VOL (Safety, Health, and Environment Checklist for Managers) or the willingness to obtain it
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• Willingness to travel to project locations within the Netherlands
