Responsibilities and Tasks of the Function

Responsible for leading and coordinating the development of automotive programs, covering new products, engineering changes, and tool updates. Acts as a technical and management interface between the company, clients (OEMs), and suppliers, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the project timeline (APQP / Project Timeline), ensuring compliance with milestones according to product phases.
  • Conduct project follow-up meetings, internal and with clients.
  • Support activities in tool development: following up on schedule, try-outs, tests, and validations.
  • Control scope, costs, and risks of the project, proposing and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Ensure the execution and delivery of PPAP artifacts and technical dossiers (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.).
  • Coordinate the transfer of the product to serial production.
  • Support client audits and internal audits related to the program.

  • Experience in automotive product development.
  • Mastery of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D phases.
  • Familiarity with project management (PMBOK, Agile, etc.).
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Desirable knowledge in tooling projects, molds, or patterns.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, VDA).
  • Intermediate to advanced English (contact with international clients).
