Project Manager

Together with our Partner, a Polish technology company specializing in the creation of operating systems, we are looking for an experienced specialist to carry out projects as a Project Manager. The project concerns the development of an operating system supported by the European Union within the IPCEI CIS program and implements the strategic goal of building Europe's technological sovereignty in the cloud and IoT area. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Negotiations and coordination of schedules with international partners (including Bosch, Deutsche Telekom/T-Systems, Diehl Aerospace, Siemens) and subcontractors, including environmental tests and certifications (e.g., DO-178C). Management of formalities towards the funding institution (NCBR): budget changes, contract amendments, substantive and financial settlement documentation before the project closure in October 2026. Project reporting and documentation: periodic reports to management and representation of the project towards partners, clients, certification bodies, and auditors. Risk, budget, and information flow management in the project, with ongoing escalation of problems and preparation of status reports. Enforcement of milestone achievement in R&D engineering areas under high time pressure, along with identification of causes for delays. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Minimum 4 years of experience in project management in a similar position. Ability to enforce milestones from highly specialized R&D engineering teams under high time pressure. Practical knowledge of NCBR / KPO procedures and the Competitiveness Database (purchases, requests for quotations). Strong organizational skills and task-orientation as a key trait in project execution. Courage and honesty in communicating problems, including ongoing escalation of difficulties. Experience in projects carried out in an international environment. Knowledge of project management methodologies: Prince2, PMI. English at a minimum C1 level. NICE TO HAVE: Higher technical education (computer science, electronics, telecommunications) and understanding of IT and IoT technologies at a level that allows conversation with engineers. Knowledge of industry certifications (e.g., DO-178C) and experience in cooperation with certification bodies and auditors. Real interest in space, drone, and aviation topics.
