Project Manager

Job description

The Project Manager will be responsible for the integral management, coordination, and supervision of technological projects within the organization. He/She will act as the main point of contact and escalation point, ensuring proper communication between support areas, internal clients, and the General Directorate of Information Technologies and Innovation.

This role will ensure the fulfillment of project objectives in terms of scope, time, and quality, as well as the delivery of reports and coordination of activities in situations of contingency or critical incidents.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact and escalation point for all contracted services.
  • Function as the escalation point for all projects in execution during the contract period.
  • Responsible for delivering reports after incidents within a maximum of 10 business days following their occurrence.
  • Receive and manage calls from the General Directorate of Information Technologies and Innovation personnel regarding critical failures or incidents requiring coordination between multiple support groups.
  • Coordinate and supervise activities resulting from a technological contingency to restore services as soon as possible.
  • Prepare project plans, schedules, and risk matrices, ensuring the fulfillment of objectives on time and in form.
  • Supervise the execution of projects under recognized project management methodologies (PMI, PMBOK, Agile, etc.).
  • Report periodically to stakeholders about project status.
Requirements:
  • A degree or professional title in Systems, Information Technologies, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar positions (verifiable).
  • A current certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) issued by the PMI.
  • Verifiable experience in IT project management, vendor management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communication, negotiation, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable competencies:
  • Knowledge in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional ones (PMBOK, PRINCE2).
  • Analytical skills and risk management.
  • Orientation to results and customer focus.
  • Ability to coordinate projects with national or international scope.
