Job description


Job Objective:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor Information Technology projects, and when required, projects from other areas of the organization, ensuring compliance with work plans, committed deadlines, deliverables, scope, and budget, through project management methodologies that guarantee the delivery of business value.


Profile Required:

  • Professional degree in: Information Technology, Informatics, Computing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, team coordination, budget management, project management tools, business processes, and SAP/IT environments. (Preferably in the food sector)
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
  • Proficiency in SAP.


Location:

Corporate Offices/ Avenida Vallarta 5683. Zapopan, Jalisco.


Knowledge

  • Knowledge of business processes and SAP/IT environments.
  • Project management tools (MS Project / Jira / Azure DevOps)
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or similar)
  • Certifications or courses in agile methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and structure IT projects and projects from other areas, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and work plans.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking committed dates, milestones, and deliverables, and identifying deviations in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate internal work teams, user areas, and suppliers or third parties involved in each project.
  • Manage scope, time, and cost change control, documenting their impact and approval.
  • Generate status reports and tracking dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Promote the use of project management methodologies (agile and traditional) and PMO best practices.
  • Control and monitor the budget of each project, comparing actual spending against budgeted spending and reporting variances.
  • Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement in all projects.
