Project Manager Finance

Together with our Business Partner from the insurance industry, we are looking for an experienced specialist to provide services as a Project Manager. The project concerns a major transformation of the financial area within an organization in the insurance industry. The objective of the service is to ensure operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and the readiness of financial processes to function in the target operating model within a tight schedule. TASKS Defined and coordinated integration plan for financial areas, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies management within the financial stream. Delivery of financial process readiness (controlling, statutory and management accounting, taxes, actuarial and regulatory reporting, own business and invoicing, reinsurance, investments, management and regulatory reporting) for operation from the date of merger registration. Coordinated cooperation of subject matter experts and IT implementers supporting the integration of financial systems (including ERP and invoice workflow systems), as well as cooperation at the interface with other program streams (including IT, HR, Legal, and business streams). Periodic status reports and integration workshops, along with reporting on service execution progress to program management, the financial stream leader, and business sponsors. Identified and secured critical business and regulatory processes, along with prepared transition scenarios and contingency plans ensuring the continuity of reporting, settlements, and customer service. Identified integration risks with developed mitigation actions and ensuring compliance with KNF (Polish Financial Supervision Authority) requirements, statutory, tax, and reporting requirements (in cooperation with compliance, audit, risk, and legal departments). REQUIREMENTS Minimum 7-10 years of experience in managing transformational projects or programs. Experience in integration projects, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or large organizational transformations. Experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of financial processes in this sector. Experience in cooperating with the IT area and in coordinating IT projects related to financial systems (including ERP, invoice workflow systems). Ability to manage risk and budget in projects with a technological component. Communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to translate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to build cooperation between different organizational areas and operate in a high-volatility environment, making decisions under uncertainty. Knowledge of the Polish language at a level enabling the fluent execution of services in a regulatory environment. NICE TO HAVE Experience in cooperating with management staff and numerous stakeholder groups in highly complex programs. Knowledge of regulatory and actuarial reporting requirements in the insurance sector. WHAT WE OFFER ON THIS PROJECT? Cooperation based on a B2B contract. Hybrid model - willingness for regular coordination meetings in Warsaw (approximately 3 days a week), the remaining time remotely. Support of a dedicated account manager.
