Data Center Project Manager Datacenter People is working with one of the leading data center commissioning and quality services firms in the world. Our client is a global professional services firm supporting the delivery of mission critical and data centre infrastructure projects. Acting as an owner’s representative, they provide commissioning management, project oversight and technical advisory services across complex developments. Due to continued growth in Brazil, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in the data center and/or IT infrastructure sectors. The role will involve working closely with the client’s project team, stakeholders and end-users to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and budgets • Coordinating and managing project resources, including personnel, materials and equipment • Ensuring compliance with project scope, quality, and safety standards • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues • Providing technical and commercial advice to the client • Collaborating with the client’s project team to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management • Managing and controlling project costs, including budgeting and forecasting • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that meet the client’s requirements and expectations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management. They will also have a strong understanding of data center and IT infrastructure, and be familiar with industry standards and best practices.
